Don't Teal Anyone

KB Shimmer Don't Teal Anyone.
Second time using this polish and I still love the little fuchsia, teal and gold glitters with the teal base.
However, I still dislike the application and the polish chips really easily (Unlike the Revlon colours that stay on for really long...which means I'm gonna buy more Revlon nail polish!).

Ordered a bottle of OPI Nail Envy for sensitive and peeling nails this Monday at my school's pushcart stall that sells nail polish and I'm collecting it today!
The guy at the stall was really nice when I told him what I was looking for and he said he would order it in for me. Took down my name and contact number and he whatsapped me yesterday saying that he's got the stock already! Super efficient!
They're selling all the awesome polishes at great prices too. This OPI Nail Envy that I'm buying costs about $45 per bottle at BHG but they're only selling it at $25!
Great service Nail Deck, thank you so much! (:
Here's a photo of their pushcart stall located at Singapore Management University's School of Information Systems Concourse Basement, 80 Stamford Road.

Neon

This is one coat of LA Girl's Fiery Orange without topcoat. Will add another coat over later on to make it look less sheer. I quite like the brush  since its bristles are really nice, smooth and close together which makes application easier and neater. Love this polish overall and will definitely buy more colours from this brand!

In the previous post, I mentioned buying a Sally Hansen maximum growth daily treatment. Been wearing that either alone or as a base coat under my chinese new year mani. So after two weeks, my nails are stronger and don't chip as easily as they used to. It's great as a bast coat as well as compared to the OPI base coat I always used and my mani can last for almost a week (surviving two rough cheerleading trainings too)! But unlike the name suggest, my nails didnt grow out much and they're still pretty short. I got it for about SGD15 a bottle from Watsons and it really does work pretty well as a strengthener and a base coat so I would recommend you all try it too!

Meanwhile, school's getting really busy with all the midterms and projects and presentations lined up so I apologize for blogging less these two weeks. Press on everyone, summer's just round the corner!!

Happy Chinese New Year!

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
Yes, we celebrate Chinese New Year here in Singapore. With reunion dinners on Chinese New Year's eve and visiting our relatives on the first and second days of the new year. Visiting is exciting if you're still young. Children (unmarried people to be exact) get red packets filled with money for good luck from their married elders, all the greedy people gather around the food table and munch on yummy new year goodies, relatives gather to drink and talk about mindless stuff and being a busybody, and sometimes even try our luck at Blackjack or mahjong hoping to win some money.

So here's my mani for CNY. A simple dark red Raisin Rage from Revlon. That's two coats without topcoat. Sorry for the tip wear, it's already been 3 days. And I bought Sally Hansen's Maximum Growth treatment, hoping that it'll really strengthen my nails so that they will not chip off or peel off so easily. Read reviews after I got it, doesn't sound good but I hope it works anyway.

Pretty set of lipgloss from F21 to look forward to using this year! No more pale looking, dry/cracked lips! (:

Florals

Hello everyone! Here's my first attempt at floral patterns for my nails. Painted them using a dotting tool and a little old paintbrush. Entered them into the #showclyourpink contest that ended last week but I didn't get choosen to be in the final ten. But there were really some great entries for both the beginner and the pro section. Good luck to all the finalists!

Some bunch of students were doing fundraising for their OCSP and were selling these cute little cakes in jars. I bought two jars of kiwi cheesecake! Yes they're really yummy, I wish they came in larger portions though! (:
